Alkaline Water in Sports

Drinking alkaline water has been found to improve body rehydration following physical exercise. A clinical study assessed hydration/rehydration bio-markers in human participants, post-physical exercise, following the consumption of high-pH alkaline water and standard purified water. Consumption of high alkaline water was found to significantly reduce and restore high blood viscosity (a hydration/rehydration bio-marker) by 87.50% when compared to standard purified water.
